Please take note of a few things. While we try to ensure the integrity of your photo, resizing in this manner may result in some quality loss. However this size photo is usually acceptable for online auctions. After you have uploaded your photo it will display your original photo in original size and the new photo in reduced size.
This utility will reduce the photo down to a 400 x 400 pixel image. If your photo is already smaller than 400 x 400 it will not reduce it. If your photo is still to large in physical size you will need to use your photo software or a quality editor such as GIMP ( Get Gimp) or PhotoShop to edit your photo.
Keep in mind the larger your photo is the more loss in quality you will have. It is best to always take your pictures for online auction items at a lower resolution setting on your camera rather than using the highest setting.
After resizing your photo download it immediately to your computer. Photo's are deleted right after they are resized to save server space. Your new photo will have MYEA_ added to the front of the file name. I.e. if your original photo was 1995buick.jpg the new smaller picture will be called MYEA_1995buick.jpg.
